Maintaining my rat traps.

Trap maintenance takes very little time. Once installed, in the morning, in daylight or when you switch on the lights in your business, the traps that have caught rats will emit a repetitive beep, and the digital screen will display events such as the number of rats eliminated. All you have to do is remove the eliminated pests. Unlike poison and other pest control systems, there's no risk of contaminating food supplies and decomposing rodents that may be in inaccessible places.

On a map or by drawing a sketch (see example), indicate where the DétruiRAT traps are placed, noting the type of trap. This will help officers to locate the traps quickly during an inspection. Also note the bait you have placed in the traps. What bait should be used in DétruiRAT traps?

In your rodent control plan file, include a copy of the invoices for the DétruiRAT traps and also include copies of any invoices or documents proving the efforts you have made to control rodents. Also sign and enclose the operating certificate for the DétruiRAT traps. This certificate is supplied with the traps and is specific to the DétruiRAT traps.

The operating certificate for the DétruiRAT traps must be included in the rodent control prevention plan so that the inspector can check that the traps are working properly. This document must be completed and signed by the manager and the person or persons responsible for maintaining the traps.

Certificat de fonctionnement des pièges DétruiRAT: (A single certificate is sufficient for all the détruirat traps placed in your rodent control plan).

DétruiRAT traps are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and programming to display events, detect problems and indicate that the trap is operating correctly.

The correct operation of the DétruiRAT Mini-Prise, "Dead or Alive" and "Maxi-Prises" traps is detectable:

- If the screen displays between 11.6V and 13.2V every 10 to 20 seconds.

- If the display shows "bird protection" (the trap is switched off and will start automatically in the dark).

- If nothing is displayed on the screen, the trap has stopped. Connect the trap and, in the event of a fault following a long repetitive beep, follow the instructions displayed on the digital screen.

In order for the inspector to approve your action plan against rodents, the person or persons responsible for maintenance must be fully familiar with the operation and recommendations concerning the use of the DétruiRAT traps.
