How to place DestruiRAT traps?
Follow Luc Michel's advice to place your rat traps correctly!
Placing a rat trap correctly gives you the chance to trap quickly, without having to call in a specialized pest control company.

Choose a suitable location
Find a suitable location for the trap. Avoid sloping ground; the trap must be placed on a perfectly flat, solid surface so that a rat can't dig underneath and escape.

Avoid gaps between the ground and the trap
Make sure there are no gaps between the floor and the trap, as even small spaces can allow small rats or rodents to escape.

Use a solid support surface
DétruiRAT®️ traps have no bottom, so use a support plate if the floor is uneven or porous. Choose a hardwood panel, concrete slab or metal plate. And at least 22 cm wide.

Check plate length
The support plate should be at least 120 cm long. It should extend on either side of the trap tunnel entrance by at least 25 cm, so that rodents will step on the plate before reaching the trap entrance, making them less wary.

Protect the trap from the elements
Make sure you protect your Détruirat traps from the elements by placing them in a sheltered spot. This is essential to maximize their effectiveness.
These precautions are essential to maximize the effectiveness of DétruiRAT®️ traps and increase your chances of capturing rats and rodents safely.
